Many of the items fitted in our apartments have long term guarantees and warranties for example most of the bathroom fittings have 10 year, 25 year or lifetime guarantee . A number of the fixtures and fittings are of very high quality and expensive to replace. Before replacing at your own cost it would be wise to check the Homeowners pack for the manufacturer to see if the guarantee is still valid

Connecting a RF (arial type) connector from the TV out on the Multi media panel to your TV will give you Freeview terrestrial TV. Freeview is free and accessible to all apartments. If it doesn’t work you can try these quick checks
MEDIA SERVICES
The apartment is cabled to connect to analogue telephone & broadband internet services, subject to the user’s subscription.
DATA / TELEPHONE SOCKETS There is a data/telephone socket located in the lounge of the apartment on the multimedia plate.
In the utility cupboard there is a Virgin Media box, a Sky box & a all multimedia systems are accessible by standard personal contracts with the relevant provider.
Sky (SUBJECT TO THE USERS SUBSCRIPTION) Satellite TV is provided via a communal dish on the roof.
Each apartment has an inbuilt system which can be activated to receive:– Digital Satellite – Digital TV– Freesat– Digital Radio (DAB)– FM Radio. The main connection point is located in the living area. Each bedroom also has a connection point into this multimedia network.
Cooker Hood Carbon Filter Replacement Neff D5655x1GB
The cooker hood fitted is not vented outside so a carbon filter is used to remove odour. It’s recommended that it’s changed yearly ours was two years old. It was a bit of a faff but hopefully the video will hep.
Addendum : It is quite hard initially to get the locating lugs of the filter in to the underside of the cooker hood. This is due to the way the new filter is packed which bends the filter at the back edge. So I would suggest that the filter is unpacked from the shrink wrap, for a while, before fitting so that the filter returns to the correct size. My daughters filter already had a toddle in place which required a hex drive to loosen ( I have one of them if you need it)

The Tilt and turn windows have a cheap and poorly fitted window restrictor
The correct fitting is available from Complete Aluminium Spares (277441 SCHUCO ENEGRY-ABSORBING LIMITING STAY) and are simple to fit. The holes left by the old cheap restrictor are easily fixed by the “Magic man” S D Sealants
